Our Mission
At Common Ground Nutrition, we believe that food is more than fuel—it’s a foundation for connection, healing, and empowerment.
Our mission is to provide inclusive, science-based nutrition support that honors each individual’s unique journey while addressing the systemic barriers to wellness. By focusing on whole-body health, including hormonal balance, mental well-being, and sustainable nourishment, we help women find lasting, personalized solutions.
Through education, advocacy, and compassionate coaching, we strive to make wellness accessible to all—because health should always have common ground.
Hi, I’m Kit.
I am a clinical nutritionist and the founder of Common Ground Nutrition. As a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition and Board-Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) candidate, I am dedicated to providing evidence-based, compassionate nutrition support that honors the diverse needs of the people I serve.
My approach goes beyond meal plans and food trends—I believe that nutrition should be accessible, realistic, and deeply personal.
Whether you're navigating hormonal imbalances, mental health challenges, or persistent skin concerns, I aim to empower you with knowledge and tools that fit your lifestyle, culture, and budget. My practice is rooted in science and empathy, recognizing that health is shaped by more than just food—it’s influenced by stress, sleep, environment, and community.

Choosing between nutrition coaching and nutrition counseling depends on your goals and needs.
Coaching is best for those seeking guidance, accountability, and habit-building to improve their diet, energy, or overall well-being. It’s ideal for lifestyle support, meal planning, and motivation without needing deep clinical assessments or further labwork.
Counseling, on the other hand, is more clinical and therapeutic, suited for individuals experiencing diagnosed hormonal imbalances, gut health concerns, or other complex health issues that require personalized interventions, lab reviews, and targeted nutrition therapy. If you're unsure, a discovery session can help determine which service fits best for you!

Yes! If you begin with nutrition coaching and we evaluate that you need targeted nutrition support for specific symptoms, we can move you to counseling.
Switching from counseling to coaching is not available due to the already presented integration of coaching into the higher level counseling services.

Common Ground Nutrition is a space rooted in body literacy, hormonal health, and mental wellness. This work centers care for individuals with menstrual cycles, including those post cycle, transitioning off birth control or managing hormone-related symptoms. Some workshops are catered towards folks with cycles only and some are open to all experiences.

At Common Ground Nutrition, 1:1 coaching includes in-depth, personalized support tailored to your unique health story. This level of care involves more time, energy, and resources—including direct face-to-face sessions, custom protocols, and ongoing communication—which is why it’s priced higher.
That said, we deeply believe that everyone deserves access to quality nutrition support. To offer more accessible options, we also provide group coaching and workshops (both hosted by CGN and available for private booking). These formats are a more affordable way to engage with foundational nutrition guidance in a supportive online or in-person community.
Our goal is to meet you where you are—financially, physically, and emotionally—and to offer meaningful care at every level.
